The purpose of this Society shall be to co-ordinate the work of local historians and others interested in collecting and preserving records; to encourage projects and celebrations and cooperate with other historical societies.

The purpose of this Society shall be to co-ordinate the work of local historians and others interested in collecting and preserving records; to encourage projects and celebrations and cooperate with other historical societies.
The Historical Society of Clinton was formed in 1974 and has supported many community projects including: the 150th and 175th Anniversary Celebrations, the 100th Birthday of the Clinton Inn, the transcription of the Lancaster movies to video tape, the publishing of guides to the Irish Hills and Churches in Clinton, walking tours, house tours; and quilt and stained glass Identification projects. The Society maintains an Archive at Clinton Township Public Library.
Meeting Dates:
We usually meet six times a year: March-June, Oct and Nov., the 4th Tuesday at 7p.m.
At the Library or St. John’s Episcopal Church. Check your newsletter or the Clinton Local for location and planned trips.
