US-12 GARAGE SALE IS AUGUST 7TH-9TH THIS YEAR
This year the US-12 Garage Sale is the second weekend of August — 200 miles of it turn into one of the most distinctive garage-sale corridors in the country. The 2026 edition runs Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9 and Clinton participates. The Historical Society of Clinton will take donations towards their sale on Thursday August 6th at the American Legion Hall. If you need to donate ahead of time, please call 517-285-6218 to make arrangements.
Twenty trail towns. Nine counties. Lake Michigan on one end, the Detroit suburbs on the other. The corridor is shorter than the 127 Yard Sale and longer than the VA 100 Mile, and it has a character neither of them does: this is a heritage event as much as a yard sale, and the route itself is the draw. Anyone along the route can join the sale.
