The Historical Society of Clinton is presenting a program on the Clinton Theatre Restoration.  This theatre first opened in the renovated Freese/Clinton Textile Club Building in 1937.There have been many owners through the years.  You may recognize these former owners names: Carrow,Covey, Fitzpatrick, Truesdale & Crescio.  The 2011 restoration was done with a DDA matching grant; with work being done by the Campbell/Duroucher Group. The paint was stripped off the old brick and all of the trim restored and repainted. The Theatre is celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year.   The public is invited to the Clinton Township Public Library on April 3 at 7p.m.  The presenters are Karie Dorsten-co-owner of the Theatre, Sharon Scott-historian & Jack Campbell of the restoration company.
