2012 Christmas Tour In Clinton Dec. 8

CHRISTMAS TOUR IN CLINTON, MI

Hear ye, hear ye! This year’s Clinton Christmas Tour will include: three historical homes, a quaint little chapel in Riverside cemetery built by Wirt Rowland, and the Southern Michigan Railroad Society Depot; they are celebrating their 30th Anniversary. The tour will also include Floyd's Wood Craving with a carving demonstration done during the tour and finally the Solid Rock Church which was the oldest Methodist Church in Michigan. A special event will be the appearance of a Mark Twain impersonator, who will be visiting each home on the tour. The tickets may be purchased ahead of time at Floral Fantasy, Schmidt & Sons Pharmacy and the Clinton Inn, on Clinton’s in downtown Clinton; they are $6. Refreshments will be served in the homes.  That evening tickets & programs will available at the Smith Kimball Community Center, located at 211 Tecumseh Rd, Clinton, MI 49236 from 5:30-7:30 pm.  For further information call 517-442-8385.
