BUILDING MARKER PROGRAM- HSC is still awarding building markers. If your <\/p>\n
building is at least 75 years and retains its historical character you can apply for a <\/p>\n
marker; by Aril 1, 2015. Applications are available at the Library. <\/p>\n
CHRISTMAS HOUSE TOUR, Dec.12 , 5-8 pm. Believe it or not; planning for 2015 <\/p>\n
Walk is just beginning. If you would like to show your home or help call Norleen <\/p>\n
at 517-442-8385 <\/p>\n
New Life Member- We are happy to have a new life member Julia Glass. She lives <\/p>\n
on Brown St. We are encouraging new memberships this year. <\/p>\n
ARCHIVES- We have received some new records: Clinton Fire Department Logs & <\/p>\n
1930s list of members of the Clinton Fire Association and Esther Schmidt Papers <\/p>\n
Archives are open for research on most Fridays, 3-5pm. Check the web-site for <\/p>\n
the schedule for working on the files on Mondays and working on Fridays. Help is <\/p>\n
always appreciated. <\/p>\n
MONEY, MONEY, MONEY- The HSC has spent around $700 on transferring <\/p>\n
1930\/40s Film, which we received in the 1980s from Robert Foreman, to digital <\/p>\n
with the work being done by American Video in Brighton. This film was taken by <\/p>\n
James R. Foreman who was Village President in the 1940s. <\/p>\n
CLINTON LOCAL AVAILABLE DIGITALLY- The Friends of the Library & the Historical <\/p>\n
Society have made the Clinton Local 1880-1960 available at the Library, digitally. <\/p>\n
