Michigan&#8211;Signature Sewing&#8211;Built around 1835.&nbsp; <\/strong><br \/>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/135-W-Mich-10-scaled.jpg\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href, '', 'resizable=no,status=no,location=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no,fullscreen=no,scrollbars=no,dependent=no'); return false;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-35\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/135-W-Mich-10-scaled.jpg\" style=\"height: 75px; width: 100px; float: left; margin-left: 6px; margin-right: 6px;\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" \/><\/a>The brick for this building was drawn from Ann Arbor and it is probably the earliest building on US 12 west of Ann Arbor that was brick.&nbsp; Clinton was an important early commercial center for this area.&nbsp; This building was long know as Demuth&rsquo;s and is now owned by Robert and Shirley Harris.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>116 Locust Street&#8211; Built c.&nbsp; 1839<\/strong><br \/>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/116locust.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-36\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/116locust.jpg\" style=\"width: 100px; height: 75px; margin-left: 6px; margin-right: 6px; float: left;\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a>This house, formerly known as the Hause house, was built around 1839 with a major addition made in 1892.&nbsp;&nbsp; The current owner, Eric Roberts is working on renovating this large house.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>3780 Kehoe Road&mdash;Built c. 1857<\/strong><br \/>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/3780kehoe.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-37\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/3780kehoe.jpg\" style=\"width: 100px; height: 75px; margin-left: 6px; margin-right: 6px; float: left;\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a>This house was built in the Greek Revival style around 1857 by Oliver Allen.&nbsp; It was formerly known as the Kehoe Farm and is now owned by Mickey and Rose Grech.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>617 Jackson St.&mdash;Built c. 1895<\/strong><br \/>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/617jackson.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-38\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/617jackson.jpg\" style=\"width: 100px; height: 75px; margin-left: 6px; margin-right: 6px; float: left;\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a>This is a frame house with Victorian elements, which was built around 1895 by the Noones, a Manchester family.&nbsp; Later it was owned by the Rynd and Smith families.&nbsp; The current owners are John and Amy Shovels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>136 E. Michigan Ave.&mdash;Built c. 1882<\/strong><br \/>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/136emichigan.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-39\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/clinthis.org\/hist\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/136emichigan.jpg\" style=\"width: 100px; height: 75px; margin-left: 6px; margin-right: 6px; float: left;\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a>Today this home is known as Clinton Chiropractic Wellness Center.&nbsp; It was built around 1882.&nbsp; It is a four square house.
