Native Americans were integral to Michigan&#39;s pre-settlement landscape by virtue of awareness of their&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\tdependence on it and respect for it its use. European settlement brought a host of changes, none more fundamental&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\tthan an abrupt shift in the human relationship to the land. This presentation will give an amateur&#39;s impression of the&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\tpre-settlement landscape and help us to appreciate what we losing.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\tBob Kellum is a native of Washtenaw County, will present a program this program on Michigan&rsquo;s Historic Landscapes&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\tat the Clinton Township Public Library on March 24th at 7pm. Bob&rsquo;s family has owned land in the Irish Hills since&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\t1961, where he learned to appreciate the area&#39;s unique landscapes. He was formerly a Planning Commissioner in&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\tManchester Township, and is now active with the Grand-Raisin Cluster of the Stewardship Network, the Irish Hills&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n\taffiliate of the MotorCities National Heritage and Oh These Irish Hills!.
