HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF CLINTON ANNUAL MEETING AND PROGRAM

At 6:30 pm on April 25th we will hold our annual meeting:  election of officers, approving the budget and paying of dues.  Dues are $10 for single and $15 for a couple.  Dues can also be mailed attention of Mary Houghton, treas., PO Box 647, Clinton, MI 49236.  The program will follow at 7:00 pm.

The Historical Society of Clinton will be presenting Historical Building Marker Awards to several home owners in Clinton at 7 pm on Tuesday,  April 25th at the Clinton Township Public Library.

  Following, at 7:30,  will be a program on “Buttons from A-Z “  by Joy Y. LeCount.  She is president of the Jacksonian Button Club which has members across southern Michigan, northeastern Indiana and northwestern Ohio  She competes at the state and has been an “official” button collector since 1995.  She invites you to bring your buttons and she will try to give you information in that regard.  The Historical Society invites the public tocome and see “Who’s got the Button.”
